At the heart of the company is the “Delfin LNG Project”, an offshore LNG export terminal some 40 nautical miles from the coast of Louisiana.
The project consists of 4 FLNG Vessels, each vessel capable of producing 3.5 million tonnes of LNG and each connected to existing offshore pipelines, that transport natural gas from the US pipeline grid to the FLNG Vessels.
The company successfully conducted all permitting work under the Deepwater Port Act, governed by the Maritime Administration (MARAD) and received the non-FTA export license from the Department of Energy for 13.3 million tons of LNG per annum covering all four FLNG Vessels.
Given the successful progress to develop the Delfin LNG project the company is actively pursuing additional Deepwater Port projects in the Gulf of Mexico.
